Big I CT 2024 Golf Tournament: A Day to Celebrate, Compete, and Connect

On August 8, 2024, independent insurance agents, partners, and friends came together at Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, CT, for the annual Big I CT Golf Tournament. The event brought together 45 teams spread across two courses for a day filled with golf, camaraderie, and celebration as we honored Big I CT's 125th anniversary.

The day kicked off with a cookout lunch and was packed with exciting contests and surprises. New this year, the 50/50 Tee Shot contest raised funds to benefit Make-A-Wish® Connecticut, alongside additional contributions from raffle prizes and mulligans. This incredible effort demonstrated our community's generosity and commitment to making a difference.

Golfers embraced the spirit of friendly competition on the greens, with the best team on each course earning cash prizes and bragging rights. Afterward, everyone gathered for the lively post-tournament social reception, where connections were strengthened over delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a bit of luck with the raffle prizes.

Thank you to all who participated and made this event a success! We’re grateful to share such a memorable day with the best agents and insurance partners in the state. Here's to another year of building relationships and making an impact—both on and off the course.
